Fogleman's team fast at Jennerstown.

Durham, NC, April 14, 2003 --Jay Fogleman and his team took their #4 Lucas Oil Ford Tauruses to Jennerstown Speedway Saturday night for the Hooters ProCup Series, Lucas Oil 250. JFco Motorsports has been preparing during the off-season to bring a new look to the team in 2003. With a new paint scheme riding on the hauler and on the #4 Lucas Oil Ford Tauruses they were ready to race.

Fogleman was second fastest in practice and qualified 13th to start the Lucas Oil 250. Fogleman proved he had a powerhouse, as he moved up fast through the pack from his qualifying position. By lap 21 he had moved to 9th position and he had earned a 2nd place position by lap 50. 31 laps later Fogleman ran into trouble when the #97 car of Danny Sammons spun, collecting the #50 car of Hal Goodson and Jay's #4 Ford. Fogleman and team were forced to bring the #4 Lucas Oil Ford Taurus in. The team worked fast, sawed off the front end of the car and replaced the radiator and Fogleman was able to get back on the track. "The team has worked really hard and has put together two great race cars. We had a fast car this weekend. I'm sorry, and disappointed the results didn't show how much effort and hard work we all put into the cars", said Fogleman.

JFco Motorsports and Lucas Oil Company are dedicating a signed banner at each race for a loved one that is fighting in the Persian Gulf. Thomas Bear, Car Chief for the #97 Hooters ProCup car, was the recipient of the banner this weekend for his son who is fighting in Iraq.

Catch the Lucas Oil team at Lonesome Pine International Raceway, Saturday, April 26th for the Food City 250!
