Cameron Dodson Looking Forward to Lucas Oil 250 at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway
Mansfield, OH - For the first time in his United Speed Alliance Racing (USAR) Hooters Pro Cup Northern Series rookie season, Cameron Dodson will have one less hurdle to clear for Saturday's Lucas Oil 250. The driver of the No. 14N May's Motorsports Elite Collision Center DuPont Performance Coatings Joie of Seating Chevrolet Monte Carlo has raced previously at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway.
The 17-year old raced and won the Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series (HOSS) race held at the .5-mile banked oval in October 2005.
"I know that there will be a big difference between my Hooters Pro Cup car and the sprint car at Mansfield," Dodson said. "But it will be a good feeling to know the of the characteristics of the track. I think that will help my communications with Lee (McAllister, crew chief) about our car and fine-tune our setup more quickly.
"We are looking forward to a good run Saturday. I am really excited to get back behind the wheel and race."
