EXPERIENCE AT MANSFIELD SHOULD BE A POSITIVE FACTOR FOR DANNY JACKSON
Jackson Looks Forward to a Race Close to Home

Cincinnati, OH (June 5, 2007) Danny Jackson was glad to see Mansfield on the 2007 Hooters Pro Cup Northern Division schedule. Jackson, from Cincinnati, OH not only is looking forward to Mansfield because of the closeness to home, but also because this is a track he has experience at. Jackson raced in the 2005 ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series at Mansfield and placed 5th. In 2004, Jackson also raced a late model at Mansfield in the Sunoco Super Series. Jackson is all too familiar with the track that has the reputation as being tough to pass on.

?It always helps when you have some track experience on your side. We have been learning some new things about the car and hoping to get some practice laps in that will allow us to make some set up changes. It?s nice to be a little closer to home for the fans. Track position is going to be a huge factor at this particular track, but I am looking forward to a great race.? After placing 13th at Madison, Jackson is ready to continue his improvements. It is good to get a finish after two rough starts Jackson explained.

Crew Chief, Todd Gearhart is also looking forward to Mansfield. ?We need to continue with consistent finishes. Having track experience will be a positive thing for Danny this week,? Gearhart said.

Car owner, Dave Jackson said that they have been learning things on how to get the car set up and are looking forward to getting on the track at Mansfield. ?Danny has experience at the next two tracks on the schedule. We are new to the series this year and new to the set up and handling of the car. These next two races should be fun for us.?

Jackson will take the green flag at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 9th at Mansfield Speedway in Mansfield, OH.
