USAR: Motordrome:

MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- For the second consecutive year Motordrome Speedway in Smithton, PA will host the final regular season race for the USAR Hooters ProCup Series Northern Division. The Hooters ProCup 250 will be the second visit ever to the track for the touring series.

Last year Jay Fogleman won the race in dominating fashion last season and the Durham, NC driver could use a win to move up in the standings for the best possible seeding going into the Championship Series.

Fogleman has used a strong run throughout the second half of the season to vault as high as second place in the standing. Fogleman could move into the top spot with a strong showing at Motordrome.

Eric Corbett and Brian Ross join Jeff Agnew as contenders for the number one seeding from the Northern Division going into the regular season finale. The track, located just outside Pittsburgh, will give several drivers an opportunity to qualify for the Championship Series.

The point standings have remained tight throughout the top10 all season long and a good finish at Motordrome could put a driver in or drop a driver out of the top-10.

The Hooters ProCup 250 will be on Friday September 5 at 8 pm. Gates will open 4:30 pm with qualifying scheduled to begin at 5:30 and an autograph session to meet the drivers will be at 6:45 pm. The Hooters ProCup 250 will begin at 8 pm.

STARTING FIELD: 32 car starting field. 34 cars possible. Fastest 28 cars through time trials. Three provisional positions based on top 30 drivers' position in the Northern Division 2003 points standings. One provisional will be awarded based on top 30 owners' position in the Northern Division 2003 point standings. Provisionals may be added to the field for a former USAR Hooters ProCup Series champion, or a former USAR Hooters ProCup Series Rookie of the Year who competed in 2002.
