Van Alst Secures Sponsor For USAR Program in 04; Busch; Truck Schedule Likely This Summer

Anderson, Indiana - - Race car driver Greg Van Alst can breathe a little more easier heading into his first USAR Hooter's Pro Cup event next weekend at South Boston, as Van Alst Motorsports has reached an agreement with ASTA 3000, a new upcoming oil additive for the automotive market.

"On behalf of everyone at ASTA 3000 we are very proud to announce our affiliation with Van Alst Motorsports and Greg Van Alst," said CEO Sofiane Nenach. "We feel that Greg has a lot of talent and his goals meet our goals down the road, we feel this is a win-win situation."

ASTA 3000, which has been tested by world wide automotive supplier Delphi showed that it can last up to 20,000 miles compared to other brands 3,000 to 6,000 miles. The product also builds up fuel increase by 21 percent, reduces wear and tear on the engine up to 70 percent, along with reducing pollution by an astounding 95 percent, and restoring original performance.

"This is a new product," said former ARCA RE/MAX Series driver Van Alst. "If you don't see it in your local automotive stores now, I encourage you to ask for it. ASTA 3000 is going to go a long way, the results are impressive, and their excitement to move into the Motorsports world is extravagant," he continued.

Van Alst will return to USAR series next weekend looking for revenge. 2003 proved to be a rough year for the rookie team, expectations were high, but results were less than impressive. "We feel that the monkey is off our back, and now it's time to show our stuff," explained the driver of car 35.

"We have a sponsor now, this is probably my biggest break in racing thus far, Its my job to go out there and win races, that's what the sponsor expects, and that is what my team is aiming for, it's now or never," he added.

The Anderson, Indiana native is also talking to several teams about joining the NASCAR Busch Series, or NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series rank later this summer.

"I have been talking to some prospective people about moving into NASCAR later this year. ASTA 3000 is willing to step up to the plate, I'm willing to raise the bar, we just have to see what happens, right now our goal is to be competitive in our USAR events."
