ROSSBURG, Ohio (Friday and Saturday) Donnie Moran of Dresden, Ohio, became the first four-time winner of the World 100, capturing Eldora Speedway's most prestigious late model race Saturday night.

Moran led the final 52 laps on his way to the $30,000 victory. Scott Bloomquist came from back in the pack to finish second, while Jack Boggs, John Mason and Ronnie Johnson rounded out the top five finishers. Rick Eckert, Terry Phillips, Kevin Weaver, Steve Francis and Mike Jewell finished sixth through 10th on the historic half-mile oval in westcentral Ohio.

Darrell Lanigan led the first 34 laps of the race until Billy Moyer took over from laps 35-47. But Moran led the rest of the way to become the event's first four-time winner. Moyer, Larry Moore and Jeff Purvis are three-time winners.
