Buddh Vento Cup: Dodhiwala dominates Race 1
Ishaan Dodhiwala inched closer to the 2016 Vento Cup title with a dominant win in the first race of the season-finale at Buddh International Circuit.

Having started from pole position, Dodhiwala sprinted away from the rest of the field, establishing a comfortable two second lead on the opening lap.
His advantage extended with each passing lap, the Hyderabad-based driver eventually taking the win by 11.132s from championship rival Karminder Singh.
Aditya Vijay Pawar finished third, coming on top in a four-way spat for the final spot on the podium involving Rishaad Mody, Gowdham Murugan and Keith Desouza.
With Pawar taking third, guest racer Mody finished fourth, ahead of Murugan - both edging past Desouza.
The Goa-based driver's title hopes suffered another bump after he dropped from third to sixth with just two laps to go.
Further back, Affan Sadat Safwan Islam was seventh, with Vento race winner Niranjan Todkari finishing eighth, making up 10 places having started from the last row of the grid.
Arfath Mohammed finished only 0.781s behind Todkari with Rashad Khan completing the top 10. Guest driver Simran Rastogi impressed with 13th.
Meanwhile, Jeet Jhabakh, despite not scoring points having finished 11th in the race, clinched the Juniors' title.
