Starting sixth on the grid, Singh had a rocketing start as he moved to the lead of the race at the end of the opening lap pushing reverse grid polesitter Pradeep Vaidyam to second.

Vaidyam soon found himself under pressure from Vigneshvar Devarajan, Ishaan Dodhiwala and Sidharth Balasundaram.

Meanwhile, starting from the back of the grid Sailesh Bolisetti and Raghav Sharma made significant ground as they moved into the top 10 midway in the race.

Dodhiwala made way as he despatched Devarajan and Vaidyam, who went off-track in the battle as the Hyderabad-based driver moved to second.

Anindith Reddy who started from eighth made his way up to third behind Dodhiwala. Singh had enough lead to win the race from Dodhiwala and Reddy.

Vaidyam ended fourth while Bolisetti finished a gritty fifth and was joined by Sharma at sixth. Dodhiwala clocked the fastest time of 1m14.385s.

The top 10 was completed by Sahil Gahuri at seventh, Rithvik Thomas eighth, Devarajan ninth and Amit Kokate 10th.

Gahuri and Devarajan were penalised in the race. Both had a 10-second time penalty; Gahuri was penalised for overtaking under yellow flags while Devarajan for a jump start.

Elsewhere, Neha Dabas finished 12th while Ria Dabas was 14th at the end of a fairly incident-free race which saw three retirements of Rajeev Srivastav, Amit Mete and Amit Patil.
