Reddy takes a win in a stop/start Vento first race
Anindith Reddy took a lights-to-flag victory in a stop/start first race of the Volkswagen Vento Cup weekend at Buddh International circuit.

Reddy kept his cool throughout the eight laps of the Vento Cup which was stopped after an incident at the start of the race when Harkishan Wadia crashed out.
After few laps behind the safety car, the race was red-flagged until the track was cleared and started after a brief period of stoppage behind the safety car.
Reddy continued to lead with Ishaan Dodhiwala behind him, after the Hyderabad driver moved past Sailesh Bolisetti at the start of the race.
Bolisetti lost another place to Karminder Singh when the Delhi driver moved into the podium position after starting fifth on the grid.
The Vizag driver was involved in an intense battle for fourth, fifth and sixth with Raghav Sharma and Prabhanjan Paruchuri which Bolisetti winning in the end from Sharma and Paruchuri.
The top 10 was completed by Pradeep Vaidyam at seventh, Sahil Gahuri eighth, Rajeev Srivastava ninth and guest driver Nayan Chatterjee tenth, having a good debut run.
The sister duo of Neha Dabas and Ria Dabas finished 13th and 14th respectively as Amit Mete joined Wadia in the retirement list.
