Montreal: Paul Fix Friday notes

FIX WINS 5th POLE AT MOLSON-INDY MONTREAL

August 26, 2005 - Montreal, Quebec - Paul Fix produces his 5th pole of the season at the Montreal Molson Indy in his #77 Stopflex/ Computer Systems Centre / Drive! Magazine Mustang. Paul will start 8th overall and first in GT1. Fix will seek his 4th GT1 category victory.

Said Fix of his qualifying effort, "We have been making changes all day, the car got quicker and we will make some more changes and I anticipate the car to go faster for the race." Referencing his first visit to the Gilles Villeneuve circuit, "The was a little slick but it seemed to come to us. I like this circuit, it has a nice rhythm to it."

"Patience is going to be key around the narrow circuit. I'm close enough to the lead pack, I intend to stay with the lead pack and take advantage of any opportunities that come my way," commented Fix.
