2004 MID AMERICAN SPRINT SERIES CHAMPION TO TEAM WITH LEVI JONES
Cameron Dodson Gets Nod at 2B Racing for USAC Sprint Car Ride

Greenfield, IN -- Cameron Dodson, the 2004 Mid American Sprint Series (MASS) Champion and Rookie-of-the-Year, will join Scott and Tamara Benic's 2B Racing for the 2005 United States Auto Club (USAC) season as teammate to Levi Jones.

The 16-year-old Greenfield Central High School honor student will compete in eight USAC pavement races on tracks 7/10 of a mile or shorter based on his age and USAC's rules. The first scheduled race for Dodson will be April 10 at famed Anderson Speedway in Anderson, IN.

Dodson burst on to the 410 dirt winged sprint car scene in 2004 scoring 10 wins and 25 top-five finishes in just 38 starts. Prior to moving to winged sprint cars, the Memphis, TN native won over 300 races and 24 national championships in mini-sprint and quarter midget competition.

The Benic's own and operate Benic Enterprises, one of the most renowned builders of winged and non-wing sprint cars in racing today. With over 30 years of open wheel racing experience to his credit, Scott Benic has built and served as crew chief for some of the most successful names in racing including NASCAR NEXTEL Cup star Dave Blaney, Jeff Swindell, Kenny Jacobs and Boston Reid.

He has wielded the wrenches on the winning cars at some of the most prestigious open wheel races including: the Mopar Nationals at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway; the Harvest Classic at Calistoga Speedway; the Gold Cup at Chico Speedway; the Williams Grove Speedway Nationals and was crowned the Indiana Sprint Week Points Championship crew chief.

"I am honored and excited to have a chance to drive for Scott Benic," said Dodson. "He track record as a winning car owner and crew chief speaks for itself. He is definitely one of the most respected people in all of racing. I know I have a tremendous opportunity to learn from him. Competing in a USAC non-wing sprint car will be a new experience for me. It is awesome that I have been given a chance to learn from the best in the business.

"Having Levi as a teammate will be invaluable to me. I couldn't ask for a better situation for my entry in to USAC competition."

"Talented young driver's like Cameron are a car owner's dream," said Benic. "He is clearly one of the stars of the future. I am looking forward to this season because I think I have two of the best young drivers in racing today. Their enthusiasm and will to win is great motivation for all of us to be the best we can be every race."
