Brandon Hartsell of Fairlawn, Ohio led the final 12 laps to win Sunday afternoon's 30-lap USAC Indiana Ford Focus Midget Car series finale at the Anderson (Ind.) Speedway.

Hartsell trailed Robbie Ray for the first 18 laps then moved to the front in his Hartsell Racing Stealth to record his second USAC triumph. Ray finished second ahead of Robbie Parish, Jon Randall and Trenton Darland.

Ray emerged as the 2003 USAC Indiana Ford Focus Midget Car Champion while Darland, with his fifth-place finish at Anderson, claimed the runner-up spot in the final driver standings.

Preliminaries for Sunday's Anderson finale were held on Saturday, with Hartsell posting the fastest qualifying time and Derek Crasi and Darland winning heat races.
