Chris Rahe of Placentia, Calif. and Brice Kenyon of Lebanon, Ind. scored USAC Ford Focus Midget feature victories last week, but rains forced the cancellation of Friday night's scheduled Midwest series race at Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio. The Midwest series travels to Anderson and Indianapolis, Ind. this Wednesday and Thursday, while the California series resumes June 5 at Bakersfield, Calif.

Rahe won Saturday's California South 15-lapper at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway in the Panelite Engineering/JMI Stealth, while Kenyon's first-ever USAC triumph came in Wednesday's 50-lapper at the Blossom Chevrolet Indianapolis Speedrome in Indiana, driving the 3-K Racing H & H Automotive/NAPA Special.

Rahe, the fastest Perris qualifier, passed early leader J.J. Ercse on lap 12 and led the final four laps to beat Brett Engstrom, Bobby Michnowicz, series point leader Chase Barber and Todd Hunsaker. Barber leads Josh Lakatos by 16 points going into the June 5 race at Bakersfield.

Kenyon trailed Trenton Darland for 24 laps before leading the final 26 laps to beat series point leader Andy Baber, Darland, Travis Young and Kyle Robbins.

This Wednesday night's Midwest Ford Focus race at the Anderson (Ind.) Speedway finds Ryan Litt trying to protect a 22-point lead over Rex Norris III, with Darland and Kenyon eighth and ninth respectively in the Midwest points. A 30-lap race is slated on the 1/4-mile paved oval, in conjunction with the "USAC 50" for the Valvoline National Sprint Cars. Thursday night's 50-lapper at the Blossom Chevrolet Indianapolis Speedrome offers points toward both the Midwest and Speedrome championships.
