UTAH, CALIFORNIA, INDIANA & NEW HAMPSHIRE NEXT FOR FOCUSES; PARISH, GEHRKE, FEDRIZZI, FAAS LATEST FEATURE WINNERS

Thursday, Saturday and Monday night races will find USAC Ford Focus racing in Indiana, California, New Hampshire and Utah. Robby Parish (Indiana), Nic Faas (California Dirt), Ginny Quinones (Northeast) and Jeff Kelley (Utah) are the respective point leaders who will try to maintain their first-place status.

Parish, of Knightstown, Ind., leads the Indiana series back to Mount Lawn Speedway in New Castle Thursday as the Wednesday Night Thunder Series moves back one night, presented by the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Parish won last Wednesday's 30-lapper at Mount Lawn, leading the final 27 laps in his Executive Homes/Robertson Drywall Beast to beat Chett Gehrke, Tyler Irwin, Eric Fehrman and Alison MacLeod. Craig Haack led the fist lap and Gehrke led the next two.

Gehrke won Friday's 20-lap Midwest Series feature at Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio, leading all 20 laps in his Indy Performance Composites/Scooter Ellis Rentals Beast. James Robertson, MacLeod, Haack and Jordan Pennington rounded out the "top-five." The Midwest series resumes action May 30 at the Plymouth (Ind.) Speedway.

Richard Petty Driving Experience President Rick Fedrizzi of Harrisburg, N.C. won Saturday's 35-lap Carolina Focus race at Shenandoah (Va.) Speedway, leading the final 13 laps after passing Sean Carman on lap 23. Mark Burt, Andre Villareal, Michael Sboro and Michael Mohelski completed the top-five. The Carolina Series continues June 2 at Florence Motor Speedway in Timmonsville, S.C. with Fedrizzi two points behind Tanner Swanson in the updated series points. Swanson finished ninth at Shenandoah.

Faas, of Huntington Beach, Calif., put his Beast in victory lane at Ventura (Calif.) Raceway Saturday night after leading all 20 laps to beat Robby Josett, Walt Johnson, Ricky Kirkbride and J.R. Williams. The win left Faas 31 points ahead of Johnson going into a June 9 California Dirt Series race at Ventura.

Lady driver Ginny Quinones of Pen Argyl, Pa. leads P.J. Stergios by a single point going into Saturday's Northeast Ford Focus Series race at Star Speedway in Epping, N.H.

Jeff Kelley of Eden, Utah leads Tim Savage by two points going into Monday's Utah Developmental Ford Focus race at Rocky Mountain Raceways in Salt Lake City.
