TORCO RACING FUELS "INDIANA MIDGET WEEK" TITLE SPONSOR; PRO SOURCE CONSULTANTS IS PRESENTING SPONSOR; BOB HIGMAN NAMED GRAND MARSHAL

Torco Racing Fuels of Decatur, Mich., a manufacturer of high performance racing and power products, will serve as the title sponsor for USAC's Torco Racing Fuels "Indiana Midget Week," featuring the stars and cars of the USAC National Midget Series. The series debuts Thursday at Boswell, Ind. and continues Friday at Gas City, Saturday at Lawrenceburg and Sunday at Kokomo.

Buck and Betty Rice of Pro Source Consultants of Grand Saline, Tex., who supported the recent "Indiana Sprint Week" with posted cash awards, will return in a similar capacity as the presenting sponsors for this week's Torco Racing Fuels "Indiana Midget Week."

Bob Higman of Lafayette, Ind., whose tenure as a USAC Board Member and as a USAC car owner is legendary, has also been named Grand Marshal for this year's events. It is fitting that the series opener occur at his "home" track, Kamp Motor Speedway, located just northwest of Lafayette.

The top three drivers and ar owners in the final Torco Racing Fuels "Indiana Midget Week" standings will receive cash awards of $1,000, $500 and $250, while Pro Source again offers its "Hard Work" and "Fast Qualifier" awards, along with the "lowest point earner to earn a starting berth in all features" award.

In addition Rico Elmore and Fatheadz Sunglasses, the "Official Sunglasses and Eyewear of USAC," will supply the championship car entrant and driver with a pair of Fatheadz while also contributing to the IMW points fund.
