CAMERON DODSON AND JOSH WISE AIM FOR ANOTHER PODIUM FINISH FOR THE CARL EDWARDS/ R.E. TECHNOLOGIES RACING TEAM AT PHOENIX

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Carl Edwards/ R.E. Technologies Racing driver Cameron Dodson is looking to be on the podium for the third time in as many years this weekend at the Copper World Classic. This time, the driver of the No. 991 Roush/ Yates Ford Engine powered, Red Line Oil/ Hemelgarn/ Johnson Motorsports entry is looking to return to the top spot after a one-year absence.

"I am as amped up as I have ever been," said Dodson. "We should have won last year but we finished second. Hopefully everything will fall in place and we can win just like we did in 2007. We definitely want to win again and give the fans a good show."

Cameron Dodson's 2007 win was his first in the USAC K&N Silver Crown Series. Since then he has won at Iowa Speedway twice including earlier this season. The Indiana resident finished second to Bobby East in the 2008 Copper World Classic at Phoenix International Raceway.

Josh Wise is planning on also being in the top spot on the podium. The Carl Edwards/ R.E. Technologies Racing team has a new engine developed by Roush/ Yates Engines for the 100 mile USAC K&N Silver Crown Series portion of the Copper World Classic.

"I am looking forward to the power from the new Roush/ Yates motor," said Wise. "With that power, we should have a good run there."

The one-mile oval at Phoenix International Raceway is one of Josh Wise's favorite tracks. A win at the Copper World Classic is something that Wise covets.

"It is one of those places that I want to win at bad, so hopefully we can do it. It seems like I know it pretty well and get around there pretty good."

Both drivers are looking to further their racing careers and are planning on using this weekend to do so. Josh Wise is scheduled to drive the #58 Nationwide Series car for Johnathan Cohen Saturday. Cameron Dodson is looking to impress potential sponsors for 2010 run in the Indy Lights Series.

Practice for the USAC K&N Silver Crown Series is set for Thursday at 10:45am and final practice at 12:15pm. Qualifying is scheduled for 3pm. The 100-lap/mile Copper World Classic Silver Crown race is scheduled to start at 7:40pm. The USAC National Midget Series race is slated for 7pm
