Track record holder Stewart named "Grand Marshal".

Teammates Dave Darland and J.J. Yeley are headed for Big Daddy's South Boston Speedway in South Boston, Va. for this Saturday night's "Mini Indy Midget 200" USAC National Midget Car race on the 4/10-mile paved oval.

Darland holds a healthy lead over Yeley in the series standings, but Yeley's lead over Aaron Fike for the runner-up spot is only 37 points, with 72 available at South Boston.

Yeley is fresh from winning the USAC Weld Racing Silver Crown Championship at Syracuse, N.Y. Saturday. He also finished a very close second in the USAC Stoops Freightliner Sprint Car Series and is leading the Earl's Pro-Lite 350 Hose Fast Qualifier Championship standings with a $20,000 year-end cash bonus on the line.

Drivers at South Boston will be aiming at Tony Stewart's 1-lap track qualifying record of 14.822 seconds set last year. Stewart, currently leading the NASCAR Winston Cup Series standings, has been named the Grand Marshal for Saturday's Indy Midget 200" at South Boston.

Joining Darland and Yeley as part of the Steve Lewis racing team Saturday will be Bobby East, who finished second to Stewart in last year's South Boston Midget Car race. East became the youngest driver in history to win a USAC National feature event at age 16 last year. Sixteen-year-old Billy Wease of Noblesville, Ind. is also slated to make his USAC debut in Saturday night's race.

Practice gets under way at 4:30 pm and qualifying starts at 6. The first race is at 7:30 and a 50-lap Midget Car feature completes the USAC program. The race is being taped by ESPN2 for broadcast November 3 from 5:30-7 pm ET.
