Aussie Oils support Aussie V8 Utes

Australian company Nulon Products P/L have just been announced as the official Lubricant supplier for the 2010 Yokohama V8 Ute Racing Series - protected by Armor All.

Nulon will be displayed on all front and rear number plates of the 16 Ford BF's and 16 Holden VE V8 Utes competing in the 2010 Series.

Each competitor will be supplied with Engine Oil, Gear Box Oil, Diff Oil and Power Steering Fluid for their V8 Utes.

The engine oil, which is 100% Australian owned and produced will now be mandated as the control engine oil which was recently tested by Category Engine Builder, Craig Hasted who was pleased with the result.

"I think the oil will be great for the engines. It's fantastic stuff and will do a great job," said Hasted.

Nulon Products P/L Marketing Manager, Paul Grimshaw is delighted to be involved in the Series especially in their 10th year.

"We are tremendously excited to be involved in the iconic Australian V8 Ute Series. 2010 promises passion, excitement and entertainment which Nulon hope to further promote and strengthen. We wish all drivers a safe and successful series, Good Luck".

Nulon have signed a long term deal and Australian V8 Ute Racing, Commercial Manager Matthew Mackelden believes they are a great fit for the Series.

"To have an all "Aussie" product for just about the most "Aussie" of all racing series makes for a fantastic fit," he said.

"This is Nulon's first real foray into circuit racing here in Australia, and we can't wait to introduce them to the teams and fans and help them to grow their business."

Keep your eye out for the Nulon number plates during round 1 of the 2010 Yokohama V8 Ute Racing Series- protected by Armor All especially in the ten years of legends race, Sunday, 14 March, which will be televised LIVE on Network Seven.

The "Ten Years of Legends Race", is a two driver format and a celebration of the V8 Utes tenth year. Each driver will have 1 practice, 1 qualifying and 1 race with the final race a two driver format with mid race driver change.

The V8 Utes had their inaugural race at the Clipsal 500 in 2001 and have competed at the Adelaide street race every year since.

Cameron McConville - V8 Supercar legend
Tony Longhurst - Bathurst legend
Paul Morris - V8 Supercar legend
Steve Owen - Fujitsu Series and Supercar legend
Leanne Tander - Female motorsport and F3 legend
Andrew Miedecke - Touring Car and Open Wheeler legend
Rod Wilson - Inaugural V8 Ute 2001 winner
Marcus Zukanovic - Former V8 Ute champion
Steven Bradbury - Olympic Gold Medallist legend
Robbie Maddison - Stunt Riding Legend
Luke Youlden - Motorsport legend
James Brock - Son of a Legend/Team Brock won the V8 Ute Series in 2004 with Damien White.
