There was a clear goal for Team BOC's Jason Bright in race four of the Formula One Rolex Australian Grand Prix support program - race strongly and bring the car back in one piece.

Starting 18th on the grid following a throttle problem in yesterday's 12 lap race, Bright was careful to avoid trouble on the opening laps.

With excellent car pace the Team BOC VF Commodore was soon passing competitors until a loose wheel forced Bright into the pits.

It was then a case of bringing the newly built Team BOC Commodore back safely before tackling Symmons Plains in Tasmania at the end of the month.

Jason Bright:

"We had a wheel come loose so once that happened it really was just a case of circulating and bringing it home. I felt as though we had a strong car this weekend, it was just tough going but I think we're in for a good run in the next few rounds we just need to shake some of this bad luck."

Volvo's Scott McLaughlin ran out the eventual winner of the Formula One Rolex Australian Grand Prix V8 Support event with Craig Lowndes and Michael Caruso rounding out the top three.
