TODD AND RICK KELLY VISIT HOME OF JACK DANIEL'S IN LYNCHBURG

Jack Daniel's Racing drivers Todd and Rick Kelly have been treated to a behind-the-scenes tour on a visit to the home of Jack Daniel's in Lynchburg, Tennessee.

The V8 Supercar stars explored the site where Jack Daniel registered the first distillery in the United States back in 1866 and where every drop of Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey is still made to this day.

"It's fascinating to see how every drop of Jack Daniel's is made right here in Lynchburg," said Rick Kelly.

"The stories and the history of the place are outstanding. It's amazing to get to see all the things in Lynchburg that we have heard so much about from our friends at Jack Daniel's.

"Every person in Lynchburg loves the Jack Daniel's brand and the staff have such great passion for what they do.

"The distilling process is fascinating and every aspect is done with quality as the absolute priority. It's a very special place and we were very lucky to be welcomed here and treated so well."

The Kelly brothers were taken step-by-step through the unique production process on a behind-the-scenes tour and ate lunch at Miss Mary BoBo's boarding house, just as Jack used to do all those years ago.

The pair was treated to an exclusive tasting with Master Distiller Jeff Arnett, only the seventh man to hold the prestigious role since Jack Daniel began producing his 'Old No 7' Tennessee whisky in 1866.

"Jeff is royalty is this game so to have him sit down for a few hours with us and take us through Jack Daniel's in such detail was amazing," said Todd Kelly.

"I was in awe. He is a busy man but he took time out specifically for us and I will never forget it. I got a huge amount out of hearing his passion and knowledge on all things Jack Daniel's."
