CDR/Boost Mobile/Yamaha Supercross riders Troy Carroll & Daniel McCoy swapped two wheels for four today when they experienced Queensland Raceway at the mercy of The Enforcer - Stone Brothers Racing driver Russell Ingall.

The Yamaha factory team riders received a special invitation from Ingall to attend the end of year ride day as his guests and experience the thrill of travelling around the Ipswich circuit at speeds of up to 270kph.

All three racers share more than the support of Yamaha with Ingall also being an avid dirt bike rider and Carroll and McCoy both passionate followers of the V8 Supercars.

Stone Brothers Racing's Russell Ingall said he was thrilled to be showing the two riders the four wheeled side of motor sport.

"It is fantastic to be able to give the V8 Supercar experience to people who can appreciate what we do," said Ingall. "I hope today gives the boys some well deserved exposure.

"It is great to see Troy and Daniel doing so well in motor sport, they are the number one Supercross team in the country and should be recognised for their achievements.

"Most weekends when I am not racing you can find me in the hills of the Gold Coast with a couple of the boys from SBR trail riding on my WR450F - it's a great machine! " Ingall concluded.

For 19 year old Daniel Mc Coy, the cousin of Australian Moto GP rider Garry McCoy it is Christmas come early, having recently being contracted alongside Australian Supercross/Motocross champion Troy Carroll & Cameron Taylor at the CDR/Boost Mobile/Yamaha team.

Carroll a five-times national champion of the sport is currently training the young protege at his home in Toowoomba in the lead up to opening round of the Australian Supercross Nationals on the 17th January in Sydney.

"It is fantastic to have Daniel join the team," said Carroll. "He is very keen and extremely eager to improve his skills and I am really pleased to be able to pass on some of my knowledge and experience.

"Today was an unbelievable experience for both of us, I am absolutely blown away by the speeds we reached and watching Russell manoeuvre the car around those tight corners was truly amazing.

When asked if he had any aspirations to switch sports Carroll hastily denied any desire to change camps.

"I really admire the driving skills of Russell & the other drivers," he said. "Never say never but for now I will leave the four wheel stuff to them"

"I am much more comfortable and in control pushing the limits on two wheels," he concluded.
