Jason Bright and Team BOC have hit back after a difficult round at Symmons Plains last weekend, with a strong showing in the opening day of practice for round three of the V8 Supercar championship at Winton in Victoria today.
It was a day of wet/dry conditions for the three practice sessions - and if that wasn't challenging enough, the newly resurfaced track caused headaches for the drivers with its ever changing grip levels.Bright finished 19th, 4th and 6th in a car that he said felt better than it did last weekend.

I felt like we were up there all day. The final session came down to who did it on their last lap and I didn't have a great final lap. I'm happy with the car wet or dry, I think this track does work well for us. The track was very weird early on. They've given it some treatment with tar on the road and it spreads out on the road and it turns into a really grippy track but dodgy too. You can't afford to go off line because you've got nothing. I think it will probably be like that all weekend.
