As was the case this year, Dumbrell will race alongside Jamie Whincup, while Bathurst winners Lowndes and Richards will again join forces for the three long-distance events.

“Having both drivers back for the enduros next year is great for all involved. PD and Richo are a part of the Triple Eight family, they are team players and are quick on the track” said Team Manger Mark Dutton.

“Lowndsey and Richo winning Bathurst this year was epic. We wouldn’t mind another one of those for next year – a one-two-three finish would be the dream!

“The enduro season is without doubt the busiest time of year, so to have drivers you can rely on and know always deliver 100 per cent, it’s all you can ask for really.”

The team is yet to confirm who will drive alongside Shane van Gisbergen at the enduros, although Tekno boss Jono Webb is understood to be the leading contender.
