Waters is the only new addition to the main PRA squad, and will line-up with 2014 Bathurst 1000 winner Chaz Mostert in the #6 Falcon FG X for Sandown, Bathurst and the Gold Coast.
The youngster is currently leading the Development Series, and shared the #18 entry with Jack Perkins last year when it was run by PRA.
"To get the call up to the main series again is awesome,” said Waters.
“I really enjoyed working with Jack last year but working with Chaz this year will be an awesome experience. He's the defending Bathurst champion so the pressure is on to back that up but I think we can do it.
“The series will be massive for me, I'll be in both the Dunlop Series and the main series for the Enduro Cup, but I'm really looking forward to it."
There are no changes for the other two PRA entries, with Owen again joining Mark Winterbottom in #5, and Dean Canto suiting up in green once more alongside David Reynolds in #55.
"It'll be great to have Dean and Steve back on board for this year,” said PRA team principal Tim Edwards.
“They've worked really well with both Mark and David in the past so it'll be great to see what they can do again this year.”
