Bathurst winner Will Davison has put in some gritty drives at recent Supercars events, refusing to let the recovery from an injured left ankle slow him down.

The Milwaukee Racing Team has a new paint scheme this weekend for the round at Queensland Raceway, with the Falcon featuring the latest product of the Tool manufacturer.

Davison was at the official launch of the high output 12.0 battery and said the new livery was a celebration of the title sponsor’s latest innovation, with the racecar renumbered 120 this weekend, to represent the achievement.

After an up and down weekend last time out in Townsville, Davison says he’ll be drawing on his 2009 form which saw the Gold Coaster produce a win at Ipswich, and believes his Falcon will be quick around the Queensland layout.

Supercars kicks off with Practice 1 this Friday at Queensland Raceway for the Ipswich SuperSprint with every session live on Fox Sports.
