The final entries are in for the Shannons Historic Racing and Classic Car Festival, with nearly 500 cars set to take part in the on and off track festivities, making this the biggest event in its 26 year long history.
280 cars are scheduled to take to the track in anger in nine divisions of racing, covering touring cars, sports and racing cars.
A huge drawcard this year will be second annual running of the John French Trophy for 1973-1984 Group C touring cars.
15 of the 'big bangers' will take to the track, featuring favourites such as Australian Champion Kevin Bartlett aboard Allan Moffat's Mazda RX7, and a host of former Bathurst cars ranging from Falcons to Toranas, and smaller capacity class cars.
A special treat on Sunday will be Dick Johnson reunited with his Bryan Bryt Ford XC Falcon for special demonstration laps.
60 pre-1963 Historic Touring Cars are set to take to the track for the Jack Lacey Memorial race.
The field will include cars from 14 different marques, and cover everything from big muscle Falcons and Mustangs, right through to Minis and an Austin Lancer.
Competing for the Lionel Ayers Trophy for groups O,P,Q and R will be 28 of the fastest open wheel and sports cars in the nation.
Included on the entry list is Graham Mein's group shaking Elfin MR 8 Formula 5000 racer, as well as a number of Can Am sports cars.
Throw in three Brabhams, four Ralts, four Renmax, and another seven Elfins, the racing is certain to be memorable.
The golden oldies will be out in force, with the pre-1965 sports and racing cars having a strong 25-car field.
Apart from a strong contingent of Model A and Model T Fords, the oldest car competing at the festival will be Warren Webb's 1926 Lea Francis Special.
Covering every aspect of motor sport, 50 new and historic sports cars will be seen in action throughout the weekend.
Competing marques will include Ferrari, Fiat, Porsche, De Tomaso, Lotus, TVR, plus many more.
On Sunday in the pit area expect to see the largest gathering of Shelby American cars ever in Australia, with a collection of some of the rarest and valuable Mustangs and Cobras in existence.
The Shelbys will complement 50 cars from the Mustang Owners Club and in total over 200 entries in the Shannons Show and Shine competition.
The patron of the meeting will be Ivan Tighe, whose 60 year motorsport career saw him racing in Australia, New Zealand and Europe on two wheels and four, claiming 13 hillclimb titles along the way.
