July 21, 1973 -- Henri Pescarolo and Gerard Larrousse give Goodyear its first victory in the Six Hours at Watkins Glen. The event is part of the World Manufacturers Championship series. Pescarolo and Larrousse win the race in their dominant Matra-Simca 670.

July 24, 1976 -- Arturo Merzario and Jean-Pierre Jarier team up in an Alfa Romeo 33SC12 on Goodyear tires to win the 500 kilometer race at the Paul Ricard circuit, part of the World Sports Car Championship series.

July 26, 1986 -- Cale Yarborough races to victory on Goodyear tires in International Race of Champions competition at Talladega Superspeedway.

July 27, 1997 -- Randy LaJoie wins the International Race of Champions event at Michigan International Speedway and Mark Martin clinches the IROC championship, all on Goodyear tires.

July 27, 2003 -- James Weaver and Butch Leitzinger, driving on Goodyear tires for long-time Goodyear racing partner Dyson Racing, win the Infineon Grand Prix of Sonoma American Le Mans Series race. It marks the first time in ALMS history that an LMP 675 class car wins overall victory.
