USAC Championship race at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA (1976).
June 14
John Woolfe is killed when the Porsche 917 he is driving crashes on the
first lap of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (1969).

Bobby Brown drives a Cobra to victory in the SCCA A Production National
race at Lime Rock, Connecticut, USA (1963).
