Penya Rhin at Montjuich Park in Barcelona, Spain (1936).
June 8
Jochen Rindt, driving a Lotus 59 for Roy Winkelmann Racing, wins both
heats of the F2 Limbourg Grand Prix at Zolder, Belgium (1969).
June 9
Giacomo Agostini wins the Senior TT race during the Isle of Man TT
event. It is his last motorcycle race on the Isle of Man (1972).
June 10
Auto Union scores their first race win with Hans Stuck's victory in the
Felsberg race in the Saar region of Germany (1934).
June 11
Chuck Sargent, driving a Maserati Tipo 61, wins a sports car race at
Laguna Seca in California, USA (1961).
June 12
Rene Arnoux drives a Ferrari 126C2 to victory in the Canadian Grand
Prix in Montreal (1983).
