MAC TOOLS JOINS ASTON MARTIN RACING

Mac Tools Europe confirmed its new association with Aston Martin Racing today, which sees the famous American tool manufacturer add another great name to its already impressive portfolio of motorsport partners. The legendary car manufacturer will this year enter the major event of the endurance racing calendar, the Le Mans 24 Hours, with its exquisite GT1 racing car - the DBR9 -- and Mac Tools will be closely associated with the successes of the works team both on and off the track.

Aston Martin Racing Commercial Director, James Turner, said: "I am delighted that we are entering into this relationship with Mac Tools. I admire their brand and people and I particularly admire their products, which are always of outstanding quality, strength and durability. I would like to think that these attributes are a common feature of both Aston Martin Racing and Mac Tools and I look forward to a long and successful partnership."

Adrian O'Nion, Mac Tools' Business Unit Director said: "Mac Tools Europe is currently involved in British Super Bike, MotoGP and the World Rally Championship and I am very proud to add Aston Martin Racing to our already impressive portfolio of motorsport partners. We are exceptionally privileged to be entering the world of top-flight international sports car racing with as legendary a marque as Aston Martin.

O'Nion continued: "We shall enormously enjoy our association with the events on Aston Martin Racing's calendar and in particular, Le Mans. We have had tremendous benefits in the past with our existing motorsport partners and I am confident that with the extraordinary heritage and fan-base enjoyed by Aston Martin Racing, this latest venture will be no different."
