Gaydon - Aston Martin Racing’s FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) campaign continues this weekend at the inaugural Six Hours of Nürburgring and, alongside its regular five car driver line-up, works driver Jonny Adam (GB) will join in the #97 Vantage GTE.

Adam, who last raced for the WEC team in the GTE Am class in 2013 will make the step up to the GTE Pro class to join Darren Turner (GB) and Stefan Mücke (DE) in their Gulf-liveried V8 machine.

“I am excited to be making my return to Aston Martin Racing's WEC programme with such a strong line-up,” Adam commented. “The last time I drove the Aston Martin Vantage GTE competitively was in 2013 in the Six Hours of Fuji, so I'm desperate to get back behind the wheel. Stefan and Darren are both incredible drivers and I'm looking forward to the challenge of being in the #97 alongside them at the Nürburgring.”
