Lotus is heading highly motivated to China after the strong performances in the last races.

The team was able to prove that is able to fight for a top position. Unfortunate circumstance hindered the team from celebrating a podium finish so far.

Lotus is optimistic and hoping to achieve a positive result at the final of the 2012 WEC season.

The race in Shanghai will start on Sunday, 28th October 2012, at 11:00 hours local time.

Mirco Schultis, Race Driver #31: “I am looking forward to racing in Shanghai. We had a constant pace in the last races and were improving continuously. Unfortunately, we had to retire due to a technical failure.

Until our retirement in Fuji, Thomas Holzer and I had a good race and were able to keep up with our competitors. We are heading to Shanghai with a positive feeling and we hope that we will have a good weekend.”

James Rossiter, Race Driver #32: “In Fuji, we had a strong race and we were leading the LMP2 class for a long time. We want to build on this success and are trying hard to have another good weekend.

Shanghai marks the final of the season and my team mates and I are looking forward to racing in China. We hope that we can achieve our best result of the season.”
