The World Endurance Championship and American Le Mans Series teams have now completed the very active night practice for the 60th Anniversary of the Twelve Hours of Sebring. They will have one final practice – not counting the warm up prior to the race – before qualifying tomorrow.
Tom Kristensen, the eight times Le Mans winner, turned the fastest lap at 1:47.049 for the Audi Sport Team Joest LM P1 #2 Audi R18. The Dane will share the driving duties with Allan McNish and Dindo Capello during the 12 hour endurance race on the 3.740 mile road course on Saturday.
Second fastest was Andre Lotterer in the #1 R18 with his best lap of 1:47.377, just .328 seconds off the pace of his teammate, Mr. Le Mans! Loic Duval, who was the driver of the Audi that was out of action due to a crash that occurred after one hour into the night practice, did set the third best lap time of 1:48.752.

The fastest of the non-diesel LM P1 cars was the Muscle Milk Pickett Racing #6 HPD ARX-03a at a 1:49.910. Team drivers Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf are joined by their third driver Simon Pagenaud.
Stephane Sarrazin was the fastest driver in the LM P2 class as the Frenchman turned his best lap at 1:51.824. When Peugeot pulled out of competition this year, Sarrazin accepted the third driver role for the historic race here in Florida from the Starworks Motorsports team. The new team entry with drivers Vicente Potolicchio and Ryan Dalziel will contest the WEC events with one the Honda HPD prototypes.
Oliver Pla in the #24 OAK Racing Morgan-Judd was second fastest with a 1:52.867 followed by Scott Tucker with his best lap time of 1:53.190 in his team’s #95 Level 5 Motorsports HPD ARX.
