PESCAROLO TEAM AT THE 12 HOURS OF SEBRING
Pescarolo Team has built a strong reputation in the Automotive World, and the WEC will be a new opportunity to meet its audience.
Sebring and its legendary track have seen Henri Pescarolo build his fruitful career, as a driver and as a team manager. Back in 2001, the fresh Pescarolo Sport team went to Sebring for its very first time with a C60 Sport Prototype, powered by a Peugeot engine. Today, the core of the technical team is back to Sebring, with even higher expectations than 11 years ago.
The organizers have chosen Sebring, one of the most prestigious tracks in racing history, as the opening round of this brand new championship. Such decision is a strong hint of WEC philosophy: going back to the roots of Endurance racing.
In order to be there, Henri Pescarolo and his team had to overcome many challenges, raising funds in a strained economical context, find new solutions to solve technical problems and, above all, deliver on its promises.
Thanks to the derogation delivered by the organizers, Pescarolo Team has entered the Sebring round of the WEC with a Pescarolo 01-Judd, fitted with a 5 liters engine. Jean-Christophe Bouillon, Emmanuel Collard and Julien Jousse will be our official drivers.
This will be the last race of the Pescarolo-01, a car with a strong racing history. It will be replaced by an all new Pescarolo 03-Judd in Spa for the second round of the World Endurance Championship.
