Rebellion Racing confirms Andrea Belicchi for 2014 World Endurance Championship

The Italian continues with the Swiss team for the fourth season.

Rebellion Racing is pleased to announce that the team has extended the contract of Andrea Belicchi for their 2014 campaign in the FIA WEC.

The Italian driver has been part of the team since the beginning and has successfully driven in GT, LMP2 and LMP1 with the Swiss team. In 2013, Andrea won two rounds of the LMP1 Endurance Trophy at Fuji (and 3rd overall) and Shanghai in the FIA World Endurance Championship on top of 3 other class podium finishes in the year.

Andrea Belicchi : "I am delighted at the prospect of being again a Rebellion Racing driver in 2014. The championship will be really exiting with the new regulations, all the new cars and and our new R-One LM P1. I have followed the development of the car and was involved at some stages of the development. I can't wait to drive it ! We will first have two busy days at the FIA WEC Prologue. I can't wait to be back at Le Castellet."
