PENNZOIL WORLD OF OUTLAWS RAINED OUT AT BLOOMINGTON SPEEDWAY
BLOOMINGTON, IN (June 12, 1998) - The Pennzoil World of Outlaws completed qualifying just minutes before a heavy storm washed out racing action at Bloomington Speedway. The Pennzoil World of Outlaw series has scheduled a return to Bloomington, to make up tonight's race, on Wednesday, July 15. Ticket stubs from tonight will be honored on that date. Additional information on times, ticket sales, and the racing program will be released as it becomes available.
Racing will resume at Bloomington with Fan Appreciation Night, next Friday, June 19. The track will present Pennzoil Cup series non-wing sprint cars, open wheel modifieds and the WalMart Tire & Lube Express Street Stocks. General admission for Fan Appreciation Night is $5. Kids 12 and under are FREE. Pit admission is $20. Gates open at 5:30 pm. Hot laps and qualifying at 6:30 pm, racing at 7:45. For more information please phone 824-7400.
