Jason Martin weekly update 2007-05-24

Jason "the Hitman" Martin -- NOS Energy Drink/Fatheadz.com Eyewear #36 Maxim weekly Update

Jason Martin is coming off two straight "A" main appearances at the New Egypt Speedway in New Egypt, NJ and Grandview Raceway in Bechtel, PA. Martin qualified 10th quick at New Egypt and won his heat race which gave him a starting spot in the Dash. Martin and his NOS Energy Drink #36 Maxim would start 10th and finish 10th in the Dash and that would be where he would start the feature. For the majority of the race he would battle in the top 15 until a loose condition in the closing laps resulted in a 19th place finish.

At Grandview Martin would time in 21st quick and finish 6th in his heat going to the "B" main. He would start 2nd in the "B" and finish in the runner up spot while battling for the lead with PA Posse legend Fred Rahmer. Starting in the 21st position Martin would climb to as high as 15th and eventually finish 18th. Next up for the Hitman and the NOS Energy Drink team is the Dirt Track at Loews Motorspeedway where Martin was running in the top 10 last year before being collected in an accident.
