KNOXVILLE FORECAST FOR SATURDAY NIGHT IS NO RAIN, COOL TEMPERATURES & HOT OUTLAW RACING

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (May 2, 2008) - The weather forecast for Knoxville, Iowa, tomorrow calls for early morning rain, then clearing skies with cool evening temperatures and hot World of Outlaws (WoO) racing. According to Ralph Capitani, "Gang, we are going to do everything in our powers to get the Budweiser-sponsored World of Outlaws show in tomorrow night, as we're as tired of these rainouts as everyone else. Let's bundle up and go racin'!"

Due to a pair of early season rainouts, the Saturday, May 3, show at Knoxville Raceway will be the season opener for both the Knoxville Championship Cup Series' 410-cubic-inch and the 360 c.i. winged sprint car divisions. The 410 main event will be sanctioned by the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series and include such hotshoes as Craig Dollansky, Jason Meyers, Donny Schatz, Joey Saldana, Kerry Madsen, Terry McCarl, Steve Kinser, Tim Shaffer, Chad Kemenah, Jason Sides, Jac Haudenschild, Daryn Pittman, Danny Lasoski, Kraig Kinser and Lucas Wolfe.
