Following a successful debut year for the RX Lites Cup, which is a supporting event at selected rounds of the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy, the one-make category will return in 2015.  Information plus entry forms for the 2015 RX Lites Cup can be found here.

RX Lites are identical 310bhp, mid-engined, four-wheel drive cars designed by Olsbergs MSE and produced in Turkey in co-operation with Avitas Motorsport.  Featuring strictly controlled spec vehicles, the series is designed to provide an affordable platform to showcase the talent of emerging young drivers.

The 2015 season will be made up of seven events. It will start with the first round in Montalegre, Portugal followed by Lydden Hill in the UK and then Holjes in Sweden. Hell in Norway has been added as a round to the RX Lites schedule this year as well as the all-new race in Barcelona which will be staged at the famed F1 venue. Istanbul Park will form the penultimate round before the season-closer in Franciacorta, Italy.

The winner of the 2015 RX Lites season will be awarded with a Supercar drive at the final World RX round of the year in Argentina.  Last year’s RX Lites Champion Kevin Eriksson was given the same opportunity in 2014 and secured a podium spot.

Second and third place finishers will have a day test in an RX Supercar. The 2015 Champion will also be awarded with the Göran Henriksson Memorial Throphy, which is in memory of Henriksson: the founder of Olsbergs.

RX Lites has a new partner for the 2015 season: Cooper Tires. After proving its quality on the Supercars last year, Cooper Tires will share its worldwide motorsport experience with RX Lites competitors as well.

P1 Racing Fuels will continue to run RX Lites engines.  New for this season, the top three finishers of each race will also have chance to get free fuel from P1.
