One team supported by M-Sport's customer programme will contest the 2003 YPF Rally Argentina, the fifth round of the 2003 FIA World Rally Championship. AW Rally Team will run from a designated M-Sport area inside the main service park, where they will benefit from the support of M-Sport's specialist engineers, technicians and technical equipment.

Antony Warmbold is looking forward to Rally Argentina, his second gravel event of the season, now that the team's seeding issues from Rally New Zealand have been corrected.
"Unfortunately in New Zealand we were forced to run well down the order behind much less powerful cars. Although frustrating for most of the rally, when we did get a good run, we were close to 2 seconds per kilometre off the leader and set a number of top ten times," said the 25 year-old German.
While Argentina's road surface and character is vastly different, Warmbold is confident that his experiences in New Zealand will assist him to find a good rhythm in his Ford Focus RS WRC next weekend.
"It can only be rougher and less slippery at times than New Zealand that's for sure. I know there are water crossings, but apart from that I have no real idea what Argentinean stages look like - but I am sure they won't be easy! Therefore the team has been concentrating on refining the car set up, and we will continue to do so as we progress through next weekend," he said
Warmbold has completed every WRC event he's started during this, his first season of competing in the FIA World Rally Championship. Realistic about his performance potential during his learning year, the team has set itself manageable goals for 2003, and Warmbold believes that he and co-driver Gemma Price are beginning to settle into their championship programme.
"I am not looking to go out there and set the championship alight! My key goal is to finish every round we start and gain as much experience as possible. We will be giving ourselves a chance to get to know the character of each of the WRC events we are contending. I have support and guidance from my team and family and we will all learn and grow together over the season. Our satisfaction comes from completing the last stage on the last day of each of the world championship events that we start," he said.
"As both Gemma and I gain more confidence in the car, our speed increases and my driving style adjusts accordingly. We will go faster as events unfold but it's also very important to me to stay on the road, so I must keep taking small steps. Driving a WRC car is not so simple - the set-up must be perfect for its driver. Then only can you really start to push. So as we learn more about the Ford Focus on each event we do I think things will become easier and our times better automatically," said Warmbold.
