In Argentina Antony Warmbold and Gemma Price knew again many technical problems that deprived them of a good result. The difficulties started during the Shakedown when Antony rolled. The mechanics did a good job and rebuilt the car before the start. But during the first kilometers of competition, the Ford Focus WRC n°11 lost a lot of time. Indeed, a defective breaks sensor sent bad information to the central diff, which couldn't work correctly. The team managed to solve the problem but Antony's confidence started to decline. Saturdays, whereas Antony and Gemma where ready to push, another problem occurs. During the SS13, the alternator warning light went on, so Antony slowed down. Following the M-Sport advice, Antony tried to repair the car after the SS 14. The German driver noted that a bolt maintaining the belt was detached. This part being almost inaccessible, it was impossible for Antony to do anything. Consequently, the crew pointed late before the SS 15 and had a 2 minutes penalty. To save the alternator and the battery, Antony disconnected the rear and front axle and the post-combustion and tried to go at the end of the SS 15 before rejoining the service park. During the twenty minutes of service, the team repaired the Ford Focus WRC n°11; Antony Warmbold and Gemma Price pointed then at the 16th position in the overall classification. During all the end of the rally, Antony and Gemma raised the rhythm and the confidence came back little by little. The duo signed good times at the end of the event and finish in 9th position, closed to the points. So finally the rally of Argentina finished better than it started for Antony Warmbold and Gemma Price!

Antony Warmbold: " This rally was very frustrating, we lost so much time with this chain of problems... in my opinion we lost more than 5 minutes! It is a pity because this rally is fantastic, the stages are very interesting the rhythm is always changing, it's cool. Finally we are glad to finish this rally, we finish once again in the top 10 while remaining convinced that we still pass close to another good result! I hope that in Finland all is going to be better... "
