After a very difficult rally of Turkey, Antony Warmbold and Gemma Price scored their first point in the World Rally Championship. At 25 years old, the young German driver could be satisfied with his performance. The Ford Focus WRC prepared by M-Sport worked perfectly throughout all the last day of competition. In the two first stages of the day Antony even came to play among the factory drivers. After a spin in the last stage, Antony lost the first then the fifth gear. Hopefully Antony and Gemma managed to finish this event in 8th position. This point scored after many adventures, with differential and brakes problems, proves that the young German driver is now one of the protagonist of the World Rally Championship
Antony Warmbold " We are very happy with this result. We often knocked on the door of the points without being rewarded, now one of our goals of the season is reached. One more time we learned a lot during this rally. Today the car was fantastic, as my times proves it in SS14 and SS15. I made a spin in the second last stage, but fortunately we manage to finish in 8th position. We want to thanks all the team; they made such a good job. It is a significant step for us. I hope that this point is the first of a long series "
