Having started last ion the road, Ogier went 3.7s quicker than VW teammate Andreas Mikkelsen and Citroen's Kris Meeke, the Briton salvaging one point after his difficult weekend.
Ogier's closest challenger Hayden Paddon had a problematic stage, having slightly damaged his Hyundai after breaking his radiator by hitting a post.
The New Zealander was forced to stop for repairs after the stage before heading back to the service park in Karlstad.
Mads Ostberg brought his M-Sport Ford home in third, with Mikkelsen and Ott Tanak completing the top five.
Hyundai's Dani Sordo was 27 seconds off the pace on the Power Stage, but still comfortably secured sixth, followed by Henning Solberg (Ford) and debutant Craig Breen (Citroen), who were only separated by four seconds.
