Sweden: conquest land for BMW Team Italy-Spain

25/07/2007 - Just a few days before rounds 13 and 14 of the World Touring Car Championship, optimism and hope reign among BMW Team Italy-Spain. The Swedish circuit of Anderstorp will house WTCC, for the first time, after European Turing Car Championship inflammed fans on this track between 1984 and 1987 as well as between 2002 and 2004.

Last week, a series of testing sessions held at Vallelunga validated a new development step of the two Italo-Spanish 320si BMWs, in sight of a theoretically favourable track for rear wheel drives.

Ballast assignment relatively penalize the team's drivers since Alex Zanardi will carry on board 5 extra kilograms, while Felix Porteiro 20kg.

11.30: Free practice 2
15.30: Qualifying

Sunday 29 July
12.05: Race 1
14.35: Race 2
