THIRD PLACE FOR BOBBI AT BRANDS HATCH

Matteo Bobbi gets again on the podium in the GT Open championship. The Milanese driver concluded race one in third position at Brands Hatch, after the fifth place in qualifying held on Saturday.

Bobbi concluded fifth race two instead, despite the result has been compromised by the a problem occurred during the stop for the 10 seconds penalty assigned by the performance balancing mechanism.

The next round of the GT Open Championship is scheduled on the Italian circuit of Monza for the next 7 September.

Matteo Bobbi: "I am quite satisfied by the result achieved in race one: I did not experience any particular difficulties and I managed to get the podium. We had 10 seconds penalty in race two, but a small inconvenient made us lose about the double of this time. Without this problem I think that we would have got the fourth position and maybe we could have fought for the third place as well.

We harvested anyway some important points for the classification. Two rounds are still to go and I hope we will have some other chances to fight for the victory."
