Drivers: Alessandro Zanardi (13,14,15), Felix Porteiro (13,14)

Positive outcome for the BMW Team Italy-Spain of the three testing days at the Italian track of Vallelunga, whereby BMW Team Deutchland and Proteam Motorsports were on track too.

Tuesday and Wednesday, on wet tarmac, Alex Zanardi and Felix Porteiro continuously scored prominent laps. Remarkably, the Bolognese driver did the same today on the wet track.

"The perfomances of all the BMW official drivers present at Vallelunga have been nearly equivalent. We are really satisfied for the work done in these three days, which makes us hopeful for the forthcoming beginning of the season.

Now the 320si are coming back to the headquarter, where they are going to be prepared and afterwards they will set off to Brazil, for the first WTCC race scheduled on the 10th of March. Our drivers will be instead involved, on the 19th and 20th of February, at Zandvoort where they will be on track at the wheel of a 2006 car for some testing sessions aimed at getting more confidence with the Dutch track".
