Racing Bulls Formula 1 driver Isack Hadjar has responded to recent rumours that he has signed with Red Bull for 2026.
The French-Algerian driver attempted to shut down the speculation ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, but also confirmed that he has an idea of where he will be driving next year.
During the break following the Italian Grand Prix, reports from Auto Motor und Sport emerged claiming that Hadjar would be driving for Red Bull in 2026 and Red Bull junior Arvid Lindblad would be signed by Racing Bulls. The remaining seat would then be filled by either Yuki Tsunoda or Liam Lawson.
"No. But I have an idea, but I don't know," he explained when asked if he knew his future.
Hadjar was asked directly about the rumours that he would be driving alongside Max Verstappen in 2026, which he brushed off.
"I don't care," he sighed with a laugh. "I really don't care, you know, I had like five days off at home, I had other things to do than scrolling on Instagram."
Hadjar has impressed during his rookie F1 season so far. He secured his first podium with a third-place finish at the Dutch Grand Prix and has accumulated a total of 38 points, placing him ninth in the drivers' championship.

"At the start of the year, you were asking me if I was feeling ready to jump in the Red Bull this year, and the answer is still 'no'. I don't see the point of doing that right now," Hadjar previously explained when asked about the possibility of moving up to the Milton Keynes outfit.
"But '26 is a different question because it's a brand-new start for the team, there won't be this talk of a 'second car thing'. This won't be a thing because it's a brand-new car for everyone.
"You actually will be in a phase where you need to direct the car into the right direction, so I think this is actually interesting."
