The Dakar is more than a race. Long before the aficionados who fervently welcome adventurers in South America, Africans also put all their enthusiasm to greet the passage of the rally. In Bobo-Dioulasso, the cultural capital of Burkina-Faso, the Ramo, a traditional moped race of the country's most adventurous riders, has been relocated to take place during the rest day of the Dakar.
