Epping Rain Out

EPPING NH - SUMMIT FastNews - Got a drought? Schedule a drag race. Persistent and Intermittently heavy rain has forced cancellation of Friday activities at the Parts Pro North American Nationals at New England Dragway. Saturday's schedule is unchanged, except that the afternoon round of Sportsman eliminations will be changed to a round of qualifying, giving all competitors two shots at qualifying before entering eliminations Sunday.. Once again Mother Nature is raining on our parade. New Hampshire (and the entire Northeast) has been in need of rain all year, so the downpour today should make up a small part of that deficit. The good news is that this weather pattern is moving quickly and should be out of here by this evening, to be replaced by every drag racer's dream conditions for a sea-level track - mid-seventies, partly cloudy, low humidity, high pressure. So back 'er down for today, go visit a shopping mall or two, and come back tomorrow for an assault on the record book.
