Final points races at Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS - Sprint PCS Night at the Races at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will feature the final night of racing excitement for NASCAR Weekly Racing Series points. Twin main events for the Grand American Modified Division will highlight the show.

The Strip will host the Friday Night Import challenge presented by National Performance Center with a winner's purse of $1000 and the final E.T. Bracket Series points race on Saturday.

The Bullring is packed with excitement this weekend. In addition to the twin main events in the Grand American Modifieds, a cruise for four on the Big Red Boat will be given away and their will be a display of the "World's Largest Jersey" to benefit ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Late Models, Hitchin' Post/Exiss Legends, Chargers, Mini Stocks and Bandoleros also will compete for points.

The cruise is valued at $1,200. The winner is responsible for transportation to and from the embarkation point. The winner does not need to be present to win.

The jersey has been on a nationwide tour, collecting signatures from individuals making a $1 donation to the National ALS association.

Gates open at 5 p.m., and races start at 7.  Admission is $8 for adults,
$6 for seniors and military and $2 for children 6-12.  Children five and
under are free.  Stockyard tailgate area admission is $25.

National Performance Center will present $1,000 to the winner of the Friday Night Import Challenge at The Strip. All racers must register prior to the race at National Performance Center. Registration is free.

The final point races at The Strip for the Summit Racing E.T. Bracket series presented by National Performance Center and Junior Dragsters will be held this weekend.

Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and military and $2 for children 6-12. Children five and under are free.
